A locality with a promising outlook

Infinite possibilities

Direct tram connections to the city centre and excellent local amenities already make Komárov a great address today.

And its value will grow significantly thanks to the development around the planned railway station nearby.

A great place for an active life

Within sight of Zanzara you’ll find the popular Komec sports complex with a climbing wall, inline track, skatepark, multi-purpose court and tennis courts. In summer, you can cool off in the nearby biotope or visit the local farm. And if you head down past the tram terminus to the water, you’ll find yourself on the main cycle path along the Svratka River. From there, it’s up to you whether you ride towards Rajhrad or to the Brno Reservoir.

Everything you need for everyday life

Shops, a kindergarten, a school or a branch of the municipal library are practically just across the street.

Close to the centre—and to shopping

The tram from the stop in front of the residence will take you to the city centre in under 10 minutes, and you’re also close to the popular Avion shopping centre.

A milling past, a bold vision

On the site of Zanzara Residence there once stood a water mill, replaced in 1856 by a larger steam mill, later converted to electric power. In the second half of the 20th century the area was used in various ways, but it deteriorated so much that it eventually had to be demolished.

We’re not the only ones writing the place’s new chapter—the city administration is as well. It commissioned an urban planning study for the area around Zanzara and, together with architects, is planning a thoughtful revitalisation of the public space.
